Local Businesses

Local SEO that actually fills the calendar.

Right-sized SEO, AEO, and CRO programs for service-area businesses, regional brands, and local pros. Founder-led, results-driven, and run with the same playbook we use for enterprise, sized to your reality.

Pain points

Why local businesses call us.

Three patterns we see most often before local clients reach out:

  • Map pack is gone

You used to show up in the local 3-pack for your category. Now it’s competitors who didn’t even exist two years ago, and you can’t tell why Google demoted you.

  • GBP is a mess

Google Business Profile listings are partial, citations are inconsistent across the web, reviews are sparse, and the team running it is your office manager, not someone who knows local SEO.

  • Paid spend keeps climbing

You’re spending more on Google Ads every quarter just to keep call volume flat. Organic / Maps used to do half the work; now it does almost none.

What changes

From buried to booked.

Local SEO works because the lift is direct. A page that moves from #5 to #1 doesn’t just earn more visibility, for a service-area business, it fills the calendar and lowers paid spend.

We focus on the highest-intent local queries (services × locations), the technical foundation, and the content that converts. The rank improvement is the shipping signal.

Brian Oddo

About me

Founder-led, senior-only delivery.

I’m Brian Oddo, fifteen years running search and growth programs, last six as a senior consultant for local businesses, agencies, and enterprise teams. Local clients get the same senior practitioner enterprise clients get; the playbook just sizes differently. The reason I started this practice: local businesses kept getting handed account managers who couldn’t ship. So I work direct, senior-only, with one accountability line.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

The things people ask before signing on for a local engagement.

What size local business do you work with?

Smallest active engagement is a 3-person service business; largest is a regional firm with 12 locations. The work scales differently at each end, solo pros and 1-3 location businesses get a single playbook; multi-location gets a templatized system.

How long until I see local SEO results?

Local SEO moves faster than national, first ranking lifts typically appear in months 2-3, with material business impact (calls, form fills, foot traffic) by month 6. Year two compounds further as reviews and citations build.

What's included in a local SEO engagement?

Google Business Profile optimization, local citation cleanup and building, location-page systems (if you have multiple locations), review-velocity strategy, local link building, local query-intent content, and the same technical SEO foundation as enterprise programs.

Do you handle multi-location businesses?

Yes. We’ve run programs for businesses with 2 locations and businesses with 50+ locations. Multi-location is a different playbook, templatized location pages, GBP at scale, review velocity per location, and we run both.

Will you sign exclusivity in my city / category?

Vertical exclusivity in a city or sub-niche is on the table for the right partnership. Reach out and we’ll talk through it.

Do you only work with businesses in your local area?

No, we work with local businesses across the country. We’ve built deep playbooks for a few markets specifically (Naperville, IL and western Chicago suburbs), but the local-SEO methodology is portable.

What's typical pricing for local engagements?

Direct rates, no agency markup. Quarterly engagement minimums with month-to-month flexibility after that. Local programs start lower than enterprise; we’ll send a fixed-fee proposal after the discovery call.

Founder-led calls, not sales reps. We’ll talk through your business, your service area, and whether we’re the right fit before anything else.
