Ladies Who Lift
A women-focused strength training brand came to me after frustrating experiences with their previous marketing consultant. They wanted to grow website traffic and newsletter signups, and turn those leads into lifelong customers.

The situation
Rae and I trained at the same gym in Chicago when I lived in the city. One day, scrolling through Instagram, I got served a Ladies Who Lift ad. Obviously I'm not their target audience. The kicker: the link to their site was broken. They were paying for clicks that landed on a dead end. I let Rae know, which opened a conversation about her current support and what she needed. I offered to do an audit, planned the roadmap, and the partnership began.
Our approach
I'd been a personal trainer for years and ran my own online fitness site, so I stayed hands-on across every content touchpoint. I helped develop copy for products, service pages, articles, and lead-gen assets, so the editorial voice matched the program's.
The strategy blended quick wins with long plays. We targeted high-intent money keywords (online personal training, women's strength programs) on a slower compounding curve, while long-tail blog content drove faster traffic month over month. Non-buyers got captured into email via eBook samples, so the top of the funnel stayed productive even when the bottom was slow.

Brian is truly the best! He gets the job done quickly and efficiently and is excellent with communication. He is also great at generating ideas and bringing value to the table instead of waiting to be told what to do. Brian has become a hugely valuable asset to the team. I want to work with him forever!
